We celebrate z.ling 21st brithday last last thrusday! Suppose to have many people coming.. in the end.. one by one couldn't come.. so me, jerome, yong an and vic went! It's still fun thou!

Hello everyone!
Hope you all have been doing great! I just feel like posting for no particular reason.. =)
I guess it has a different meaning for me. Work in this office means FUN to me! FUN= A LOT OF FUN! I can't help feeling so thankful for this job. Imagine this which I did today, I am suppose to wake up at 9am. However, I feel like sleeping in for another 15mins and I just did that! Knowing full well that if I sleep later, I will be 'late' for work! It's ok for me to be 'late' for work as long as I have been doing my work. That's why I guess that I am so able to leave work early! Best of all, Jerome is so welcome at my workplace. They keep asking him to come and play with me table soccer.
I once told my boss how afraid I was if I go university and cannot come back to work here. He laughed.
Serving in MK brings a lot of fun to me! It's a feeling of wanting to serve. We get to serve every 3wks. By the 2nd week, I will tell Tigger, I miss the kids. The teachers there are awesome. So are the leaders. It's so different as compared to Arrow. Most favoured, me and Tigger get to serve together which is a first case in MK according to them. Last time, they don't purposely put the couple together de!
I believe I can do greater things that what I am doing now. Bring forth!
Hahah. I am super happy to blog this post because I've passed my first Microsoft exam and it's a BIG DEAL because people usually passed after a few times and I did it just ONCE!
All glory to Jesus! I was super nervous for this exam. The first exam I was super scared to failed because I did not want to disappointed my bosses!
Jesus was so real in this exam because:
1) I only started reallie studying one week before the exam due to work
2) When I tried the practice test paper, I usually get 23%-50%. The passing mark was 70%.
So I starting listening to THE WORD, and pray and pray and study lah!
Thank God I passed! Know what, I get the rest of the day off from my bosses! Hee.

Best of all, I can go back to reading my stories book after passing the exam! Yeay!
The best was yesterday! We were at The Rail Mall eating this Lamb shack that Janice was craving when suddenly we heard people singing Happy Birthday song to Michelle. Knowing that today is our secondary school friend Michelle birthday, I causally told Janice to stand up and see who is it? Low and behold, it was that groups of friends that we particular don't really like. The next question was: Do we go and say Hi?
Our supposed to be nice awesome choc cake was runied by that. Jancie loved that choc but she went: How come all of a suddenly my cake does not taste nice?
So finally, we decided to givve them a BIG SURPRISE and say Hi. Haha. The moment we started walking towards them, one of their mouth when wide open. OMG! So i put on the nicest smile and talk to them. There was one girl that looks like a witch. When she rebond her hair, looks like a witch after a bathed! When she perm her hair, she looks like a auntie witch. This witch likes to sweet talk to Janice in secondary school to copy her schoolswork. Now, she can't even bothered to say Hi.
Janice told me that since secondary schools, people changed a lot. Just like Michelle. Well, I just thanks God that me and Janice still remains best friends.
NTU rejected me! Not only was that sad but what makes it more saddening was I got rejected by JUST ONE POINT!
But nevertheless, I am going to appeal.. =)
SIM will gladly accept me. But I don't really have a liking for SIM.
What to do?
My 21th birthday celebrations was super fun!
Starting from...
1) Dinner at East Coast Jumbo with family and ah gong and ah ma on sat!
2) Lunch with my company on the actual day.
3) Buffet dinner at the hotel opposite my office with family and aunties and uncle on the actual day.
4) Dinner with Princess Mel at Vivo.
5) Dinner with Janice at TCC.
6) The well-planned BBQ at East Coast Beach by Tigger with all our closest friends.

This month has been REALLY BUSY!
Since I started working here, I have not been working late in a row. But this month, I have been working late almost everyday! Thanks to the vietnam project and the fickle fickle customer that sometimes makes me lose my cool! Thou I complained much to God many times & do not feel like going to work in the morning, at the end of the day, I feel happy in my heart. Something like a labouring day of work. So once I reached home, I plop on my bed and zzz....
I cannot say how much favour I have! Thanks to Daddy God! There was one day where the programmer was coming to the office to scold us all cos we kindda make a mess of the project. So I was told that the head sure kanna. Since it was going to be my first time seeing him scold people, I was scared. Not scared that I will be scolded but scared that the others will be scolded. Know what!!! He did not scold them and I heard it was because of me! During the meeting that was suppose to be scolding, he explained what we had to do and what we cannot do for now and not only that! He went: "Siling can do this and this because she has learned it from the Microsoft course!" I went: *stunned* It's the next module! Need to pass first exam first! and then he keep saying, Siling can do it. Blah blah blah.
I really thanks God and acknowledge it that favour is so abundant in my life. Everytime when I see that the programmer think so highly of me, I cannot help but think that God is so so so good and of the bigger plan He has for me.
I feel humbled that I am thought so highly of. Thank you Jesus!
I also want to thank God for the understanding boss that ask us to go home and rest when she sees us working late. She even sent me home once! Where to get this kind of boss!!!
Not only that, I am having my exam on the 05/05/2009! Ain't it a great day! grace grace!
*stand together in faith with me that I will get in NTU and me, tigger & his sis can go to arrow camp too even thou I cannot understand the 75% rule. Yes, rule.*
Since this is my blog, I shall say what I feel. I seriously do not think that Arrow camp should be based on 75% attendance. Ya, I know the leaders will say that it is to reward the ones who are faithful to CG. Well, so the argument would be that I am not attending CG regulary. That let me say that, once you start working, sometimes it is hard to go for CG after work. You feel tried out at the end of the day and want to go home and rest. Trust me, I am not the only one. People who are working too feel the same way. Second, how about all the times when I was faithful to the CG? before I started work? Think about it. I guess it should be called: Invitation Camp.
I guess I can relate to what Pastor preached today. The world is unfair, it's who does it that matter.
Now I truly understand that God is my TRUE rewarder.
I am so looking forward towards Miracle Seed Sunday! Tigger & I are sowing an amount I never ever believe we could afford!
All I see now is our return of the apples.. apples.. a tree full of apples..
Life has been busy. It's either school or work or reading my story book whenever I can.
Thank God that Tigger has been so supporting since I started school. Thank God for all the fun talks and times spend together!

My boss went to submit the form today and asked me to tag along so that I know how to get to the place and the learning environment..
Everything was like a standard learning environment like Poly. Just that the people at the centre are older than me. The lecturers there were helping in showing us around, letting me try the different methods of learning. But like what my boss say: for the price we are paying..
Well, after seeing the place & the schedule, I feel a lil afraid in going for the course.
With all the stuffs I have to study before I start the class.. With all the lessons I have to go to to meet another module timeline.. It would be rush and taxing but I do not mind learning.. It would not be easy and my boss say I would not be free for any social life on the 3rd & 4th week of Feb as I am going to have night lesson every monday, wednesday and friday from 6pm to 10pm.
So anyone reading my post, do pray for me! To have the strength and wisdom for this course. To not only pass the course but excel with high score. That the course will be fun for me and have favour with the lectures, people, computers & answers!

My boss ask me if I would like to switch my career path to a programmer a few month back. I told him I wasnt sure but am interested in programming. So he suggested letting me go for Microsoft courses first before I make a decision.
But the thing is, I am applying for NTU this Feb. Which means that it isn't worth it for them if they send me and I go NTU after learning them. So I just let the thot go.. The day before yesterday, I was telling Daddy God that I want to go back and study. then...
Yesterday, my boss bought a HUGE book for me to prepare before going for my course in Feb.
The course fee is $5000 for 16 days plus exams if I am not wrong!
I am going by the undeserved favour of God. The BEST thing: there is no bond whatsoever!
I also got bonus like the rest even though I have only worked for about 4 months full time!

My company has great people who 'bully' me, joke and laugh with me! It's feels like a family. Even when people really bully me, they will be there to stand for me and fight for me. HEE.
I thank Jesus for the choice made in staying here after my attachment.

Ever since we moved office, I've been wanting a new bathroom slippers cos we wear that in the office and am VERY DELIGHTING to see it on my desk that morning. The best of all, ONLY ME in the office got it! Hee. My boss gave me.
So now, I am happy doing my work wearing it! It makes work more fun!

I am posting this because I can't really stand it anymore after what Tigger told me. Tigger doesn't care what you think and I know I have Daddy God to justifiy for us but I want you all to know. *pui*
After being together with Tigger for some time, I learn the art of not judging people who are in a relationship too. As long as they are happy, I'm happy for them. If they are not & have to parted, I wish them well too.
But what I don't like is the why some people like to judge Tigger. It's not as if he is that bad for me. In fact, he is much more more better then what you say.
To me, Tigger is good enough for me. So stopped judging, if not i pray something funny happen to you!
Deepavali holiday was an interesting one this year! ^^
Lets start with the chiffon cake VS chiffon kueh...
Mummy bought new pots & pan.. and it comes with free recipes. So mummy wants to make chiffon cake and ask me to join along! Let me say first: the recipe looks easy.

After the first attempt, it became from chiffon cake to chiffon kueh as my dad calls it. The reason why the cake did not rise was because mummy and kor kor could not find the cream of tar tar.. so they thought tar tar sauce was the same. I just silly followed and placed tar tar 'cream' in the mixing..
So..... not being able to get the desired result. I insisted we try again.. This time without the tar tar 'cream'.. and tada!!!
It looks much better than the first time... we like the color.. But..
..it still failed. HAHA.
So in the end, we invented chiffon kueh.
Oh well. HEHE.
At night was Tigger pre 21th birthday celebration with his family and his friends (one was my dear friend) @ Shabuya, vivocity. hee.

Weekend was blast blast blast of fun! =)
Tigger brought me to a shop and let me decide the present I want. hee. I like that tender look: Go in and choose whatever you want. =)
Tigger, me, yong an & vic headed for a bowling session! The bowling centre was going to have a competition after that thus we only managed to play one game. But it was fun! I was leading in the beginning, with three guys behind me. HAHA. But in the end, yong an caught up and emerged the top!
After that we headed for pool, where they want to thrash each other. Best of all, z.l came!! So delighted to see her! New hairstyle but still the same her! HAHA. We all had fun catching up with each other and the good old days. Neevertheless hard to denied, , we all missed the SP peeps.
Chill out at Coffee Club where z.l ordered a berry drink that taste like cough survey to us gals! But the guys like it! No wonder God made gals and guys different! HAHA.
We headed to check the bowling lanes. But the waiting list was way long! Therefore, we went to esplanade to chit-chat.
Good old time with the good old peeps. I like it that way.
It was around 1115 and we are somewhere on the train route from airport to home. Imagine the long journey.. with people squeezing.. and a train that doesn't seem to have air-con. I suggested to Tigger that he did not need to send me home so that he can catch the last train.....
Instead, he said: "No, I send you home. So late already."
So, he send me home and Daddy was good enough to provide him a bus back!

After some hard decision of wanting to go out with my mummy for some time together VS going out with tigger due to missing him, I choose to go out my mummy as it has been some time we went out together. She always let me go out with Tigger.
I much say this was the feeling of being the same yet different. We went on our usual retail shopping. But this time, I lost complete interest in clothes and request to go Times bookshop as I wanted to find two particular books dearly.
So this is the outcome:
haha. After that we went to try to find something for my mum present from my dad which is a value of $500 but not in cash. HAHA. So, I tried suggesting everything and anything you can ever imagine.
Finally, we were about to leave the place where mummy ask whether I want to buy make up. Well, the make up thing birthed from Tigger trying to draw eye-liner(I suppose it's called that) for me when we were going to attend his friend wedding.
So in conclusion,
I will try to learn! From the way the lady taught me, it looks fun!
After that we went over to Raffles City - The Coach Shop. I was talking to mummy about this bag I was thinking of buying for her during this year mother day. But it was wayyyy over my budget. So mummy wanted to see. So in we went and as usual, those female shop assistants assest you by your clothes and return you with the attitude that they think whether your buying or not. So, they was not too friendly. So off we go. I cannot stand this kind of service.
We came back after dinner as mummy really wanted to see if that is the bag she want papa to buy. Mummy pushed open the door and for once, I noticed the prints on the handler or the door. It was class. However, we went straight to see that bag and met that lady who gave us the 'you can't afford it look'. Mummy continue looking around and we found this really unique Coach bag. Not the usual boring Coach bag. It has circle of Coach prints, redish in color, and many kind of leathers. We were talking by ourself when this male shop assistant came over and suggest another color - Gold. I kind of got naughty without knowing and got him to bring the other colour and designs. But I was purely intersted in that pattern bag. Because it would be something different of a Coach bag and if my mummy is getting one, I want hers to be outstanding! Nevertheless, as most male assistant do not judge customers by their clothing. He was really nice in showing us a lot of other bags. =) Thumbs up!
So in the end, Mummy needed to go home and decide does she want that bag. Before leaving that shop, Andy, the male assistant said to mummy, "So, you're coming back tomorrow? With her?".
